Computer centre is the primary place for campus-wide networking and internet connectivity. It is fully- equipped with a Web Server, Academia Server, E-Mail Server, Security Wall, Bandwidth Management, and Data Servers. The computer centre has network infrastructure including routers, firewall, unified threat management (UTM), manageable layer 2, layer 3 switches and also features a cluster of Windows and Linux-based servers for mailing and web application hosting.
The computer centre is equipped with state-of-art computing facilities to compliment classroom pedagogy. The centre has about 240 workstations running on Windows latest version, XP and Linux. All computers have 24*7 Internet connectivity with a 100 Mbps leased line. It has a 24 x 7 UPS Battery Backup.
